Abstracts
All accepted abstracts (incl. Late Breaking Abstracts) will be published online by the Swiss Medical Publishers EMH (https://emh.ch/) as well as on the website of the Joint Annual Conference of the Swiss Society of Cardiology 2019 one week prior to the congress.
As of 21 June 2019 full texts of regular abstracts will be available electronically on the congress website (www.cardio-congress.ch) and on the application for smart phone devices.
Accrediation
The scientific programme is accredited by the following societies:
-Swiss Cardiovascular Therapists: 6 credits
-Swiss Society of Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation: 24 credits
-Swiss Society of Cardiac Surgery: 20 credits
-Swiss Society of Cardiology: Wednesday 4 credits, Thursday and Friday 8 credits per day
-Swiss Society of Emergency and Rescue Medicine: 12 credits
-Swiss Society of General Internal Medicine: Wednesday and Thursday 8 credits per day, Friday 7 credits
-Swiss Society of Medical Oncology: 31 credits
-Swiss Society of Paediatric Cardiology: Wednesday and Thursday 8 credits per day, Friday 6 credits
-Swiss Society of Rheumatology: 4 credits
-Swiss Society of Ultrasound in Medicine: 8 credits
App
The Society App is available for download. Please visit your App Store and search for Swiss Society of Cardiology.
Badge
Access to all scientific sessions will only be possible with your personal name badge. Please always wear your badge! CHF 30 will be charged for replacement of a lost badge.
Certificates
You will receive an email with your personal direct link for the online evaluation form in the evening of the last day of the congress (Friday, 21 June 2019). After completing the congress evaluation form you will be able to download the certificate indicating the CME credits at home.
Changes of certificates due to incorrect submission of names will be charged CHF 10.00.

Childcare
This year, the SSC/SSCS offers childcare for children up to-5 years within the congress centre Kursaal Interlaken.
Professional caregiver from the Swiss Red Cross will look after the children and offer an entertaining programme. If wished lunch will be provided. Please indicate the name and age of the child and state any food intolerance when booking childcare with your registration.
Please ask at the Registration Helpdesk to get more information.
Cloakroom
A cloakroom is available to keep your coats and bags. It is located in the entrance area at the registration desk and is free of charge for delegates.

Industrial Exhibition
The industrial exhibition is located in immediate vicinity to congress activities such as lecture halls and catering areas. Companies from all over the world are given ample opportunity to display their latest products, services and technical innovations. The exhibition is open during the following hours:

Language
The congress language is English. Simultaneous translation (French-German/German-French) will only be provided on Wednesday, 19 June 2019 at 17.45-18.30h for the SSC track: TARCO Insights for cardiologists and at 18.30-20.00h for the General Assembly Swiss Society of Cardiology.
Coffee and Lunch Breaks
Lunch & coffee breaks are included in the registration fee and will be served in the exhibition area.

The ropeway up to the restaurant is included in the registration fee. The station is only less than a 10minute walk away from the congress centre and leaves every 30minutes as off 16:25.
For the return the ropeway leaves at 22:40, 23:00 and 23:20.
Photography / Electronic Recordings
Taking photographs and electronic recordings with a camera or mobile device is strictly prohibited in all lecture halls during all sessions.
During the congress photographs will be taken. This serves the purpose of publication on the website and/or on social media platforms of the organizer. It may hereby be possible that persons present are also photographed in a way that they can be identified. The legal basis for photographing is Article 6, Paragraph 1, lit. f GDPR, the organizer's legitimate interest is to publicly document the event.
This is explicitly stated at each event. If required, you can obtain information at the reception or information desk of the event if you do not wish that photographs on which you are identifiable will be published.

The accepted posters will be displayed next to the exhibition throughout the whole congress.
